Still celebrating 20 years: Family Day
In 2025, at Gecom we continue to celebrate two decades filled with stories, achievements, and the amazing people who have made this journey possible. And what better way to do it than with a very special day: our Family Day, a day dedicated to sharing, connecting, and expressing gratitude.
This time, we wanted to pay tribute to one of our core values: proximity. Because being close is not just about physical distance, it’s about attitude, commitment, and genuine care. And that closeness is something we experience not only among the Gecom team, but also with those who support us outside of work: our families, who stand by us every day and are part of who we are.
We spent an unforgettable day surrounded by nature 🍃, fresh air, green landscapes, and great energy. Games, laughter, hugs… authentic moments that allowed us to reconnect with our roots and strengthen the bonds that unite us beyond the professional world.
The start of our Family Day wouldn’t have been the same without the games from Pirene Project, who gave us a warm and fun welcome to the event, especially for the little ones. Through their wooden games, they managed to break the ice, awaken our senses, and encourage connection among all the families in a genuine and spontaneous way.
One of the most special moments was an activity called “Cita infinita” (“Infinite Date”). In small groups of three families, we used wooden pieces to build what our perfect home looks like. Then, we joined our houses to create a shared neighborhood, and finally, we built a path that led us to a central point: Gecom, as a symbol of connection, belonging, and community.
