Last Wednesday, April 11th, we had the pleasure of receiving a visit from the students of the BAU design school in Barcelona. The objective of his visit was to know an exmaple of 360º management of a project, from its conception to its final construction at the fair. For this they received a presentation given by different people from the GECOM team. In this case we worked on the project for the Font Vella stand at the Alimentaria-Hostelco Fair 2018, which was inaugurated this week in Barcelona.
Already in the presentation, Gemmina Roca, CEO of GECOM, began with a brief introduction to commercial and management work, a fundamental part for the development of a project. Next, our designer Rafa Ballester gave a more focused view on the design of the stand and Jordi Brué, technician of the project, focused on the execution phase of the project.
At the end, both the GECOM team and the students went to FIRA Barcelona where they had the opportunity to attend the construction of the stand, which allowed them to check the topics discussed during the morning.
We want to thank both students and BAU for the visit and wish to see them working in our sector soon. And who knows? Maybe, in GECOM.
